My little Dancer

Makenzie LOVED dance this year. She would ask every morning if she could go to dance class today. She had her recital this past weekend and it was one of the cutest things I have ever seen. She knew every single little move of her routine and she was looking out into the audience the whole time and you could tell she was having so much fun! She was so in her element.

I made sure that our video camera was all charged up so that we could video her performance. Of course, the second I went to record at her recital, I got a notification that our memory was full. I was confused and didn't realize that we had a whole year's worth of video on there. I thought it was just a few random ones, so we deleted the entire card and lost all of 2012 and 2013. I am devastated. I am sooooo hoping that we can somehow recover those videos.

Around the House

Our ward does a ward Easter egg hunt/breakfast the day before Easter. So, we counted that as our kid's egg hunt for the year:

It took Tanner a few minutes to get the hang of it. He just wanted to open every egg and wasn't concerned about collecting too many. Makenzie, on the other hand, was going crazy. We had to throw some of her eggs back for the other kids...

The Easter bunny has a tradition at our house to bring the kids swimsuits.

Makenzie comes down the stairs to see what the Easter bunny brought:

And then takes off running

We also went to our Neighborhood Easter party this year. They had a Easter bunny there that my kids were terrified of. I kind of was too. It's too bad they had to make him so scary. I'm pretty sure Makenzie would have preferred the Easter bunny to NOT come to our house.
