Makenzie Sings the BYU Fight Song

My favorite part is:

"As we unfold our 'picture' story...."

Makenzie's Trick

I have no idea where she got this from, but one day (about six months ago) Makenzie said "Mommy, do you want to see my trick?"
and I said "sure"
and then she did this:

For some reason it is one of my favorite things and I ask her to do her "trick" about ten times a day.

My Babies

2 Months

So, I'm six weeks late, but anyway, here is Tanner at two months:

Two months stats:
Weight- 11 lbs 8 oz (45th percentile)
Height- 23 2/3 in (75th percentile)

Tanner is the sweetest angel baby and I am obsessed with him. From about 6 weeks to 9 weeks he used to do this funny thing where we would mimic facial expressions. If we stuck our tongues out, he would too. If we opened our mouths wide, he would too. If we cooed at him, he would coo back. It was so cute! He thought it was so funny, he would always laugh during the little sessions....but he doesn't do it anymore....so sad...

He also decided at about 6 weeks that he wanted to roll over. Anytime we put him on his stomach for about a month, he would roll to his back. But, he doesn't do that very often anymore either!

All day long he just sits there and waits for me to look at him so he can smile at me. He is such a happy baby and I can't stop squishing and kissing him! Oh, and I have an unexplainable desire to eat him...Nick thinks this desire is weird, but I know I am not the first momma to feel this way.

Encore

I know I really need to update my blog, and I will, but in the meantime, here are some more prayer quotes from Makenzie:

"Please bless that Joseph Smith can go to church"
"Please bless the missionaries to bring the world his truth"
"Thankful I can tickle daddy's scratchy face"
"Please bless I can throw up"

And a story:

We were at a mall a few months ago. The mall has those little quarter (only now they cost a dollar) rides where they sit on a horse, or in a car...etc. Anyway, one of them is like a mini carousel and has three cars that spin around. So we are in Old Navy, and Nick gets Makenzie out of the stroller. Makenzie takes off running out of the store and sees a single kid riding on the three-person mini carousel. So, Makenzie runs up to it, starts running next to it to match the speed (picture a person about to jump onto a moving train) and then suddenly jumps on, climbs up on the car, and gets herself a free ride...yes, we have an outlaw on our hands...
