A few Pictures

This is my beautiful child:

And this is my family. I love Makenzie's hand in this one.

This is Makenzie trying to be like mommy.

Makenzie slides the mirror from in front of the entertainment center to get to the cool stuff behind it. She can open those doors and pull out videos as well. Her diapers are a little big on her...

Nick says I'm not allowed to post pictures of Makenzie's cute little baby bum. But, here she is in the bath. She LOVES the bath so much more now that she is out of her infant bath and she can play around.

On the Move

I spent the day cleaning and baby proofing the house. Makenzie has all sorts of ways of getting around the house now and she is getting pretty fast. Her newest movement is her army/dying man in the desert crawl. She drags herself around only using the left half of her body. Every time I turn around she has found something new to get herself into trouble. I have her funny crawl on video but I don't really know how to post videos and I don't feel like trying to find out right now. Maybe another time.

Fourth of July

We were in Oregon for the Fourth of July. Here is our festive little family:

All of the Bell families watching the Beaverton Parade

All grandkids with the last name of Bell

Fourth of July BBQ

The day ended with some fireworks....Here I am watching

Bell's Orchard

Nick's family lives on an orchard and we got to visit it this past week!

Here is Makenzie being held by her cousin Mikeyla one of many times

We drove the four wheelers around the orchard. You can see lots of the baby trees in the background of these pictures:

No No Makenzie!

Grandpa!
Making S'mores
Nick's dad is in the process of building a barn.
Nick helped out some....(Nick is the one that looks like a bee keeper) The fourth wall went up before we left.

Oregon Coast

During our trip to Oregon, we visited the coast! Nick's parents rented a beach house for a few days and drove to different sites along the coast. This picture was taken behind our beach house. The beach was freezing and windy. Here we are on the beach in July wearing winter coats.
Makenzie likes to keep track of who is pushing her stroller.

We went to the aquarium and Makenzie enjoyed watching the fish swim around.
We went to this lighthouse. I can't remember any of the names of the places we went and Nick isn't here to remind me...so the pictures will have to do.

From the top of the lighthouse:

A different lighthouse....and, it was very windy...like 50 mph-wind-knock you over-windy

Flying a Kite on the beach

Pa Bell pulling the kite in

Makenize and Laynie were in love. On the 4th of July, Laynie had Makenzie giggling for like ten minutes.

Apparently vacations wear these two out...
